The best Outreach.io alternatives depend on what you actually use Outreach for. If you need a full enterprise sales engagement platform, Salesloft is the closest match, HubSpot Sales Hub is the easy choice for HubSpot CRM shops, and Apollo and Reply.io give mid-market teams sequences at published prices. If what you really need is cold email at volume, Instantly and Smartlead are the better fit, because Outreach was never built for that job.

First, be clear about which problem you are solving
Outreach (now at outreach.ai) and Salesloft are revenue platforms for sales organizations. They run sequences from reps' mailboxes, record and analyze calls, track deal health, forecast revenue and sit deep inside Salesforce or another CRM. Cold email tools like Instantly and Smartlead do something else: they send large volumes of first-touch email from many secondary domains, with warmup and inbox rotation built in.
Teams often compare the two groups because both "send sequences." They serve different needs, and picking from the wrong group is the most expensive mistake on this page.
| Enterprise sales engagement (Outreach, Salesloft) | Cold email senders (Instantly, Smartlead) | |
|---|---|---|
| Main user | SDRs, AEs, managers, RevOps | Founders, SDR teams, agencies |
| Sends from | Reps' primary work mailboxes | Many secondary inboxes on separate domains |
| Strengths | Call recording, deal management, forecasting, coaching, CRM workflow | Volume, warmup, inbox rotation, unified reply inbox |
| Pricing | Quote-based, per seat | Published, by volume |
| Weak at | Mass cold outreach across dozens of domains | Pipeline management and forecasting |
If you are an enterprise team happy with the category but not with Outreach, look at sections 1 to 4. If you are a smaller team that bought Outreach mainly to send cold email, jump to sections 5 and 6.

What Outreach offers today
Outreach's pricing page lists four Amplify packages, all priced on request:
| Package | AI credits included | Highlights listed by Outreach |
|---|---|---|
| Amplify Essentials | 10,000 | AI agents, conversation intelligence, live coaching, deal health alerts, deal and pipeline management |
| Amplify Core | 25,000 | AI agents, multi-channel sequences, account planning, call insights, dialer |
| Amplify Plus | 50,000 | Everything in Essentials and Core, full conversation intelligence, deal management, team reporting |
| Amplify Pro | 100,000 | Everything in Plus, AI forecast projection, scenario planner, territory management, managed services |
Outreach describes its model as "Per user pricing. No platform fees. Support included," with seats charged per user and AI credits charged by usage.
That is a capable product for a large sales org. The common reasons teams look around are practical:
- No public price. You cannot budget or compare without a sales process.
- Packaging. Sequences, conversation intelligence, deal management and forecasting are spread across packages, so the plan you need may be higher than you expect.
- Usage-based AI credits. Costs can move with how much your team uses AI features.
- Overkill for small teams. A five-person team sending cold email may pay for forecasting and coaching it never opens.
1. Salesloft: the closest like-for-like alternative
Salesloft is Outreach's most direct competitor. Its site calls it "The Leading Predictive Revenue System" and lists Cadence (sales engagement), Conversation Intelligence, Deals, Rhythm (workflow prioritization), AI agents and Clari Forecast.
Salesloft and Clari have merged, and the site now sells Clari Forecast next to its own products. Salesloft says over 4,000 sales teams use it. See Salesloft for details.
How it differs from Outreach: the two overlap heavily on sequences, call analysis and deal management. The real differences come down to packaging, forecasting (Clari Forecast on the Salesloft side, Amplify Pro on the Outreach side), your CRM setup and how each vendor's AI agents fit your process. Neither publishes prices, so get quotes for the same seats and modules from both.
Strengths: full enterprise coverage, a strong forecasting option through Clari, and a long track record with large sales teams.
Weaknesses: quote-only pricing, and switching between two enterprise platforms is a real project, with cadences, templates, CRM mappings and reporting to rebuild.
Best for: enterprise sales orgs that want to stay in the category and are shopping on fit, forecasting or price.
2. Apollo: data and sequences at a published price
Apollo combines a B2B contact database with sequences, a dialer, call recording and AI. Its homepage says it covers 240M+ contacts and 30M+ accounts and lists 200+ integrations. Sequences can mix automatic emails, manual emails, calls, LinkedIn tasks and to-dos.
Apollo's own pricing page lists Free, Basic, Professional and Custom plans without dollar figures in its text. Third-party pricing reviews from late 2026 put Basic at about $49 per user per month and Professional at about $79, both billed annually, with higher monthly rates. Confirm current figures with Apollo before you buy.
Where it beats Outreach: - Published per-seat pricing and a free plan, so you can start without a sales cycle. - Built-in data. Outreach expects you to bring contacts; Apollo lets reps search, filter and verify them where they sequence. - Deliverability tools inside the product, including buying domains and mailboxes, warmup and inbox placement tests, according to Apollo's help center.
Where Outreach is stronger: enterprise forecasting, territory management and the depth of deal and coaching workflows for large teams.
A hybrid option: Apollo's Chrome extension can add contacts to Outreach and Salesloft sequences. Some teams keep Outreach for engagement and use Apollo only for data.
Best for: SMB and mid-market teams that want one tool for prospecting and outreach. As a certified Apollo Managed Services Partner, this is the tool we see replace a large stack most often. Read our Apollo review or start with Apollo's free plan.
3. HubSpot Sales Hub: best if HubSpot is already your CRM
If your company runs on HubSpot CRM, Sales Hub avoids a separate engagement tool and a sync to maintain. HubSpot's pricing guide (updated September 2026) lists Starter at $9 per seat per month billed annually, Professional at $90 per seat billed annually ($100 monthly) with a $1,500 one-time onboarding fee, and Enterprise at $150 per seat with a $3,500 onboarding fee. See HubSpot Sales Hub for current terms.
What you get: sequences and forecasting from Professional, with conversation intelligence (call transcription) on Enterprise, per HubSpot's guide. Starter does not include sequences.
Where it beats Outreach: one system for CRM and engagement, published prices and simpler admin.
Where Outreach is stronger: sequencing depth for large SDR teams, and fit for companies on Salesforce.
Best for: small and mid-size teams already on HubSpot.
4. Reply.io: multichannel at mid-market prices
Reply.io covers email, LinkedIn, calls, SMS and WhatsApp, plus an AI SDR called Jason AI.
As of October 2026, its pricing page lists Email Volume plans from $49 per user per month billed annually (1,000 active contacts), Multichannel from $89 per user per month billed annually, and Jason AI from $500 a month. LinkedIn automation costs $69 per account per month and calls and SMS $29 per account. See Reply.io for full details.
Where it beats Outreach: published pricing, a 14-day trial and a quicker path to multichannel sequences without an enterprise contract.
Where Outreach is stronger: conversation intelligence, deal management and forecasting for larger orgs.
Best for: growing SDR teams that want multichannel cadences and might test an AI SDR.
5. Instantly: for teams that mainly need cold email volume
If you bought Outreach to send cold email, Instantly is a better tool for that specific job. As of October 2026, its Outreach plans (Instantly uses the same word) are Growth at $47 a month (5,000 emails, 1,000 contacts), Hypergrowth at $97 (125,000 emails, 25,000 contacts) and Light Speed at $358 (500,000 emails, 100,000 contacts), with unlimited email accounts and warmup on all of them. Lead data, a CRM and inbox placement testing are sold as separate subscriptions.
Where it beats Outreach: sending across dozens of secondary inboxes, warmup, rotation and a unified inbox, at a published price that does not scale with seats.
Where Outreach is stronger: almost everything after the first reply: call recording, coaching, deal management and forecasting. Instantly's Unibox replies, team invites and webhooks also require Hypergrowth or higher.
Best for: founders and small teams running outbound without a full sales org. See our Instantly review or try Instantly.
6. Smartlead: cold email volume for agencies
Smartlead is the other leading cold email sender, with a stronger agency angle. As of October 2026, plans run from Base at $39 a month (2,000 contacts, 6,000 sends) to Pro at $94 (30,000 contacts, 90,000 sends), Unlimited Smart at $174 (unlimited contacts, 150,000 sends) and Unlimited Prime at $379 (500,000 sends). Smartlead says all plans include unlimited email accounts, and client workspaces with white label cost $29 per client per month from Pro.
Where it beats Outreach: volume sending, client workspaces for agencies and unlimited contact storage from $174.
Where Outreach is stronger: the same post-reply sales workflow listed above. Smartlead's add-on menu also takes time to price out.
Best for: agencies and outbound teams that manage many inboxes and campaigns. Read our Smartlead review, compare it in Smartlead vs Instantly, or start a Smartlead trial.

How to choose
Ask three questions:
- Do your AEs need forecasting and call analysis in the same tool? If yes, stay in the enterprise group: Salesloft, or HubSpot Sales Hub if you are on HubSpot CRM.
- Is finding contacts a bigger problem than sequencing them? If yes, Apollo removes a whole tool from your stack.
- Is most of your volume first-touch cold email? If yes, move that volume to Instantly or Smartlead on separate domains, and keep any engagement platform for warm conversations.
Many teams end up with a split stack: Apollo for data, a cold email sender for first touches, and a CRM for everything after a reply. Our Apollo to Smartlead workflow shows how that hand-off works. Whatever you send from, set up domains and authentication properly first; our cold email infrastructure guide covers the basics.
Rather not run it yourself?
If the reason you are leaving Outreach is that nobody has time to run outbound properly, a new tool will not fix it. Koldify is a done-for-you cold email agency that runs campaigns on PlusVibe, Smartlead and Email Bison, from infrastructure to reply handling. Book a 30-minute call with David at Koldify, or read our take on hiring an agency vs doing it yourself.
Verdict
Outreach is a strong platform for large sales orgs, and Salesloft is its true peer, so compare quotes from both if you need that depth. Mid-market teams usually get more from Apollo, which pairs data with sequences at a published price, or from HubSpot Sales Hub if HubSpot is already the CRM. If your real need is sending cold email at scale, choose Instantly for the simplest setup or Smartlead for agency features, and be honest with yourself that these tools replace Outreach's sending, not its sales workflow.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best alternative to Outreach.io?
For a like-for-like enterprise platform, Salesloft is the closest match. For a team that wants contact data and sequences at a published per-seat price, Apollo is the usual pick. If your company runs on HubSpot CRM, Sales Hub Professional is the simplest switch, and if you mainly need high-volume cold email, Instantly or Smartlead fit better than any of them.
How much does Outreach cost?
Outreach does not publish list prices. Its pricing page says every package is priced on request, with per-user seats plus consumption-based AI credits, and that cost depends on team size, active AI workflows and required capabilities.
Is Salesloft cheaper than Outreach?
There is no public way to tell. Neither Salesloft nor Outreach publishes prices on its website, so the only reliable comparison is to get quotes from both for the same seat count and modules.
Is Outreach the same as Salesloft?
No, but they compete directly. Both are enterprise sales engagement platforms with sequences or cadences, conversation intelligence, deal management and AI agents. Salesloft now sells Clari Forecast after its merger with Clari, while Outreach packages forecasting into its Amplify Pro plan.
Can I use Instantly or Smartlead instead of Outreach?
Only if your main need is cold email volume. Instantly and Smartlead are built to send from many secondary inboxes with warmup and rotation, but they do not replace Outreach's conversation intelligence, forecasting or deep CRM workflow for account executives.
Does Apollo integrate with Outreach?
Yes. Apollo's Chrome extension can add contacts to Outreach and Salesloft sequences, so some teams use Apollo for data and keep Outreach for engagement.
