Reply.io Alternatives: 9 Multichannel and AI SDR Tools Worth Comparing

The best Reply.io alternatives in 2026 are Apollo for an all-in-one database plus multichannel sequences, lemlist and La Growth Machine for LinkedIn-led outreach, Amplemarket and Artisan for AI SDR agents, Klenty and Outreach for phone-heavy sales teams, and Instantly or Smartlead if you really just need high-volume cold email. The right pick depends on which part of Reply.io you rely on most: the channels, Jason AI SDR, or the data.

Every price and feature below was checked on the vendor's own site in October 2026. Where a vendor does not publish a price, we say so.

What Reply.io does well (and why people look elsewhere)

It is worth being clear about what you would give up. Reply.io's pricing page lists two self-serve plans as of October 2026:

  • Email Volume: from $49 per user per month billed annually ($59 monthly), with unlimited mailboxes subject to fair use.
  • Multichannel: from $89 per user per month billed annually ($99 monthly), with email, LinkedIn, calls, SMS and semi-automated WhatsApp in one sequence. LinkedIn automation is a $69 per account add-on and Calls and SMS is $29 per account.

On top of that, Jason AI SDR starts at $500 per month on annual billing. Reply.io says Jason researches prospects, writes and personalizes outreach across email, LinkedIn and phone, handles replies and objections, and books meetings, in either copilot or autopilot mode. Reply.io also says it has 1B+ verified contacts built in.

That is a lot of capability in one product. People usually start looking for Reply.io alternatives for one of four reasons:

  1. Per-seat costs add up. The base seat is only the start once you add LinkedIn accounts, calling and data credits for each rep.
  2. They want a stronger LinkedIn engine. Teams that live on LinkedIn often prefer a tool built around it.
  3. They want a different AI SDR. Jason's entry tier is $500 per month, and some teams want an agent that sits on top of a bigger database or a cheaper credit model.
  4. They only send email. If you never use the other channels, a volume-priced cold email tool can cost much less.

1. Apollo: best all-in-one replacement

Best for: sales teams that use Reply.io for both data and multichannel sequences.

Apollo is the closest like-for-like replacement for teams that use Reply.io as their data source and their sequencer. Its help center says a sequence can mix automated emails, manual emails, dialer calls, LinkedIn actions (such as connection requests and interacting with posts) and action items. You search the database, reveal contacts, and push them into a sequence without leaving the app.

Apollo says it has 240M+ contacts and 30M+ accounts, and its AI Assistant (launched March 2026) runs research, list building and sequence building from a chat. Paid plans start at about $49 per user per month on annual billing for Basic and $79 for Professional, as of October 2026, based on 2026 pricing reviews (Apollo's own page does not show dollar figures). There is a free plan to test it.

Weaknesses: LinkedIn steps are tasks a rep completes rather than fully automated actions, credits run out faster than people expect, and international or parallel dialing needs the Advanced Dialer add-on. Our Apollo.io review covers credits and data accuracy in detail.

2. lemlist: best for LinkedIn plus email on a small team

Best for: founders and small teams that want email and LinkedIn in one sequence with a friendly builder.

lemlist is one of the most direct Reply.io competitors. Its pricing page lists an Email plan at $69 per month ($55 on yearly billing) and a Multichannel plan at $109 per month ($87 yearly). Multichannel adds LinkedIn and calls, with a built-in call dialer, power dialer and in-app calling, while SMS and WhatsApp are add-ons.

lemlist includes lemAgent and a set of AI agents for signals, enrichment and messaging, and it sells lead data enrichment and buying intent signals as add-ons. Its pricing page shows "Users: Unlimited" on the plan cards while the FAQ says pricing is based on users, so confirm the per-seat math for your team before you buy.

Weaknesses: it is not built for very high cold email volume across dozens of mailboxes, and the data add-ons push the real cost up.

3. La Growth Machine: best for LinkedIn-first outreach

Best for: teams whose buyers answer on LinkedIn more than email.

La Growth Machine (LGM) prices per "identity," meaning one connected LinkedIn account. Its pricing page lists Basic at €60 per month (LinkedIn and email), Pro at €120 (adds calls) and Ultimate (adds X), plus a custom plan from €150, with a 14-day free trial and two months free on annual billing.

LGM's own comparison page describes cloud-based LinkedIn automation, AI-generated LinkedIn voice messages, "social warming" before connection requests, and triggers based on signals like profile visits. If LinkedIn is where Reply.io's Multichannel plan earned its keep for you, LGM goes deeper on that channel.

Weaknesses: pricing is in euros and scales with each LinkedIn identity, and it has no built-in AI SDR that runs the whole motion for you.

4. Instantly: best for cheap AI agents on top of volume email

Best for: teams that want Jason-style AI automation without per-seat pricing.

Instantly charges per workspace, not per user, with unlimited connected sending accounts. As of October 2026, Outreach plans are Growth at $47 per month ($37.60 annual, 5,000 emails), Hypergrowth at $97 ($77.60 annual, 125,000 emails) and Light Speed at $358 ($286.30 annual, 500,000 emails).

The AI angle is the reason it belongs on a Reply.io list. Instantly's AI Sales Agent (launched March 2026) takes your website URL, finds ICP prospects, enriches them, writes outreach and handles follow-ups, costing 5 credits per lead according to Instantly.

Its AI Reply Agent answers replies in human-in-the-loop or autopilot mode for 5 credits per reply. Credits are a separate subscription from $47 per month.

Weaknesses: sequences are email only. Calls, SMS and LinkedIn connections live in Instantly's separate CRM product ($97 per month flat for unlimited seats, per its help center), not in campaign steps. Read our Instantly review for the full picture.

5. Smartlead: best for agencies and volume senders adding calls

Best for: agencies and outbound teams that send a lot of email and want calls in the same sequence.

Smartlead is built for volume across many mailboxes, with unlimited email accounts on every plan. As of October 2026, its pricing page lists Base at $39 per month (6,000 emails), Pro at $94 (90,000 emails), Unlimited Smart at $174 (150,000) and Unlimited Prime at $379 (500,000), about 17% less on annual billing.

In 2026 Smartlead added SmartDialer. Its product page says calling is a step inside the sequence next to email, calls are recorded and transcribed by default, and auto-dialing works through a list one call after another.

Numbers are US local numbers from $1 per month. SmartAgents, its AI operators, manage campaigns, follow-ups and replies, with schedule or event triggers.

Weaknesses: there is no native LinkedIn sending (it connects to tools like HeyReach), the add-ons stack up, and SmartAgents pricing is not published. See our Smartlead review.

6. Amplemarket: best for an AI copilot plus data

Best for: funded sales teams that want data, multichannel sequences and AI agents from one vendor.

Amplemarket bundles a database, sequences across email, phone and social, a native dialer and its Duo AI agents. Its pricing article says the Startup plan is $600 per month on an annual term with 2 users, including 15,000 email credits and 480 phone credits per user per year. Growth (4 users) and Elite (10 users) are quote-based, and there is a 14-day free trial.

Duo Copilot, included on every plan, finds high-intent leads, researches prospects and drafts sequences for you to review. Amplemarket also describes Duo Copywriter, Duo Voice for AI voice messages and Duo Inbox for reply handling, though its own article is inconsistent about which plan includes Duo Inbox.

Weaknesses: the entry price is far above Reply.io's seats, and anything beyond Startup needs a sales call.

7. Artisan: best for an autonomous AI BDR

Best for: teams that bought Reply.io mainly for Jason and want an AI BDR to run outbound end to end.

Artisan sells Ava, which it calls an autonomous AI BDR. Its May 2026 announcement says Ava researches prospects, writes outreach, runs email sequences with dialer call steps, handles replies and books meetings, with optional human approval at each stage. Artisan says Ava draws on 250 million verified B2B contacts and 130 million local businesses, with waterfall enrichment across 22+ sources and intent signals.

Pricing is not published. Artisan says pricing is custom to your team and volume, on a credit-based model.

Weaknesses: no public price, and the announcement does not mention LinkedIn as a channel, so ask if LinkedIn matters to you.

8. Klenty: best for phone-heavy SDR teams

Best for: SDR teams that spend as much time calling as emailing.

Klenty is a sales engagement platform with a parallel dialer (which it says lets reps "open 10+ conversations per hour") and a power dialer that calls a list in sequence. It lists native CRM integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho and Microsoft Dynamics, and AI features such as AI account research and agentic cadences.

Klenty's own comparison page says plans start from $50 per user per month, with $70 and $140 tiers above it, but a table on the same page shows different figures. Confirm current pricing directly with Klenty. It offers a 14-day free trial with no card.

Weaknesses: no built-in AI SDR on the scale of Jason, and pricing information is inconsistent across its own pages.

9. Outreach: best for large sales organizations

Best for: enterprise sales teams that need engagement, forecasting and coaching in one platform.

Outreach is the enterprise end of this list. Its sales engagement page describes sequences that can involve several stakeholders, an integrated click-to-call dialer, AI agents (which it calls Revenue Agents) that handle sequencing, and engagement data synced across email, LinkedIn, SMS and calls with your CRM. It also sells deal management, forecasting and conversation intelligence.

Prices are not published; you have to request a quote.

Weaknesses: it is overkill and over budget for most small teams, and implementation takes real admin time.

How to choose by what you use Reply.io for

If you mainly use Reply.io for... Look at Why
Data plus multichannel sequences Apollo Database, sequences with calls and LinkedIn tasks, dialer in one seat
LinkedIn automation La Growth Machine, lemlist Built around LinkedIn steps
Jason AI SDR Artisan, Amplemarket, Instantly Autonomous or copilot agents; Instantly is cheapest to start
Calling Klenty, Apollo, Outreach Mature dialers and CRM sync
High-volume cold email Smartlead, Instantly Unlimited mailboxes, priced by volume

A note on email-only teams

Many teams pay for Reply.io's Multichannel plan and then send only email. If that is you, a volume-priced platform is usually the better deal. Smartlead and Instantly are covered above, and PlusVibe is worth a look too: it is email only, with Personal at $37 per month and Business at $77 per month as of October 2026 (PlusVibe review).

Before you switch, check what it will cost at your real volume with our cold email cost calculator. Sending tools also only work on solid domains and mailboxes, which our guide to cold email infrastructure explains.

Rather not run it yourself?

Switching tools does not fix targeting, copy or deliverability. If you would rather have a team run outbound for you on PlusVibe, Smartlead or Email Bison, book a 30-minute call with David at Koldify. You can also read cold email agency vs DIY to weigh the trade-off first.

Verdict

Reply.io is a capable multichannel platform with a real AI SDR, so replace it for a specific reason.

If you want the same breadth with a bigger database at a published price, start with Apollo. If LinkedIn drives your pipeline, try La Growth Machine or lemlist.

If you want an AI SDR, compare Artisan, Amplemarket and Instantly's AI Sales Agent. If you only send email, Smartlead or Instantly will cost less per email.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best alternative to Reply.io?

For most B2B sales teams, Apollo is the closest all-in-one replacement because it combines a contact database, multichannel sequences with email, calls and LinkedIn tasks, and a dialer. If LinkedIn is your main channel, look at lemlist or La Growth Machine. If you mostly send cold email at volume, Instantly or Smartlead cost less per email.

How much does Reply.io cost in 2026?

As of October 2026, Reply.io's pricing page lists Email Volume from $49 per user per month billed annually ($59 monthly) and Multichannel from $89 per user per month billed annually ($99 monthly). LinkedIn automation is a $69 per account add-on, Calls and SMS is $29 per account, and Jason AI SDR starts at $500 per month.

Is there a cheaper alternative to Reply.io's Jason AI SDR?

Instantly's AI Sales Agent runs on Instantly credits (5 credits per lead, per Instantly), and Apollo includes its AI Assistant on paid plans. Both cost less to start than Jason's $500 per month Starter tier, but neither is a full replacement for a managed AI SDR with done-for-you deliverability.

Which Reply.io alternative is best for LinkedIn outreach?

La Growth Machine is built around LinkedIn and prices per connected LinkedIn identity, and lemlist's Multichannel plan includes LinkedIn steps alongside email and calls. Both let you mix LinkedIn and email in one sequence.

Do any Reply.io alternatives include a dialer?

Yes. Apollo, lemlist (Multichannel plan), Klenty, Amplemarket and Outreach all include calling. Smartlead added SmartDialer in 2026 with calls as sequence steps, using US numbers.

Should I switch from Reply.io if I only send cold email?

If you never use LinkedIn, calls or the AI SDR, you may be paying for features you do not need. A dedicated cold email platform such as Instantly, Smartlead or PlusVibe charges by sending volume with unlimited mailboxes, which is usually cheaper at scale.
