The best Woodpecker alternatives in 2026 are PlusVibe and Smartlead for agencies that want client workspaces and white label at a lower cost per client, Instantly for a polished all-in-one with an agency portal, Email Bison for large agencies that want unlimited workspaces on isolated infrastructure, QuickMail and Reply.io for agencies that also run LinkedIn, and Mailshake, lemlist or Saleshandy if you mainly want something simple. Which one fits depends on how many clients you manage and how much volume you send.
We checked every price and feature on the vendor's own site in October 2026. Where a vendor does not publish something, we say so.

What Woodpecker does well (and why people switch)
Woodpecker earned its following by being simple and agency friendly. Its pricing page uses a calculator rather than fixed plans, and as of October 2026 the base includes unlimited email accounts, unlimited team members, unlimited email verification (including catch-all) and Lead Finder credits. Its help center says billing runs on contacted prospects per month, follow-ups do not count, and the lowest plan costs $35 for up to 500 contacted prospects.
For agencies, Woodpecker's agency panel is the main draw. The help center describes a client panel that lists active and inactive clients with their prospects and running campaigns, lets you log into each client's sub-account, copy campaigns from Agency HQ to a client, and flag disconnected mailboxes or SPF and DKIM problems. Each active client costs $27 per month, and the white label add-on costs $5 per client per month.
So why look at Woodpecker alternatives? The common reasons are:
- Per-client and per-prospect costs grow with you. An agency with many clients pays $27 or more for each one, on top of contacted prospect volume.
- Add-ons stack up. LinkedIn accounts are $29 each per month, and integrations, API, webhooks and MCP are a $20 per month add-on.
- Volume pricing works better elsewhere. If you send high volume across many mailboxes, tools priced by emails sent can cost less.
- They want features Woodpecker sells separately, like a deeper unified inbox, AI reply handling or a client-facing mobile app.

1. PlusVibe: best for agencies that want a low cost per email
Best for: agencies and lean outbound teams that want simple campaigns, solid deliverability controls and white label client access.
We have a direct relationship with PlusVibe: Nerdy Joe is a PlusVibe Certified Silver Partner and Koldify sends client campaigns on it. As of October 2026 its pricing page lists Personal at $37 per month (25,000 emails, 30,000 active leads), Business at $77 (150,000 emails, 100,000 active leads) and Agency from $497 (500,000+ emails), with two months free on yearly billing.
For agencies, Business includes one workspace with extra workspaces from $29 per month, and Agency includes dedicated client workspaces and white labeling for each client. PlusVibe's help center describes a White Label Client App, a branded mobile app with your logo that your clients can use at no charge, and unlimited team members on all plans. The Unibox adds AI sentiment labels, scheduled replies and round-robin thread assignment, and the AI Reply Agent is available from Business.
Weaknesses: it is email only (no LinkedIn or call steps), it has no searchable lead database, and inbox placement testing is a paid add-on from $19 per month rather than built in. Its help center and pricing page also disagree on whether white label starts on Business or Agency, so confirm before you buy. Our PlusVibe review goes deeper.
2. Smartlead: best for agencies with many clients on a budget
Best for: agencies that need a separate, branded workspace for each client without a big monthly floor.
Smartlead is built for agencies sending at volume. Every plan includes unlimited email accounts, and as of October 2026 its pricing page lists Base at $39 per month (6,000 emails), Pro at $94 (90,000 emails), Unlimited Smart at $174 (150,000) and Unlimited Prime at $379 (500,000), about 17% less on annual billing.
Client workspaces with white label cost $29 per month each from Pro, and Unlimited Prime includes 3. That is a close match to Woodpecker's per-client model at a similar price, with more sending volume on the base plan. Smartlead also offers API and webhooks from Pro, SmartAgents for AI campaign management, and a US-only dialer.
Weaknesses: the interface has more moving parts than Woodpecker, a Trustpilot reviewer in October 2026 called the new UI frustrating, and the add-ons (warmup tiers, verified emails, servers) make total cost harder to predict. Read our Smartlead review for the details.
3. Instantly: best polished all-in-one with an agency portal
Best for: agencies and in-house teams that want sending, lead data, CRM and AI agents from one vendor.
Instantly charges per workspace with unlimited sending accounts. As of October 2026, Outreach plans are Growth at $47 per month ($37.60 annual), Hypergrowth at $97 ($77.60) and Light Speed at $358 ($286.30). Its Agency bundle, which combines Light Speed sending with credits, is $555 per month ($500 annual).
Instantly's help center says the white label agency portal (your logo and a custom login domain) is on Hypergrowth and Light Speed, and adding workspaces also requires Hypergrowth or above. Its AI Reply Agent and AI Sales Agent run on credits.
Weaknesses: the help center notes one agency portal per workspace, and clients with Campaigns access see all campaigns in that workspace, so separating clients means separate workspaces and subscriptions. Lead data and CRM are separate subscriptions. See our Instantly review.
4. Email Bison: best for large agencies at high volume
Best for: established agencies sending hundreds of thousands of emails a month across many clients.
Email Bison has one published plan: $599 per month for 500,000 emails, with extra monthly volume available. Its pricing page lists unlimited workspaces, unlimited teammates with no per-seat fees, and isolated infrastructure with dedicated IPs. Koldify sends some campaigns on Email Bison, so we have a working relationship with it but no affiliate link.
The trade-off is simple: one flat price with no per-client fee. For an agency running 15 or 20 clients, that can beat paying per workspace.
Weaknesses: $599 per month is a high floor for a small agency, white label is not listed on its pricing page (its own blog describes client portals as something you build on its API), and it is not the simplest tool for beginners.
5. QuickMail: best for agencies that want client reporting
Best for: lead generation agencies that report results to clients and want LinkedIn in the same tool.
QuickMail lists Starter at $49 per month (1,000 prospects, 5,000 emails), Growth at $99 (25,000 prospects, 100,000 emails) and Agency at $299 (100,000 prospects, 500,000 emails). All plans include unlimited inboxes, unlimited LinkedIn accounts, unlimited users and free warmup through MailFlow. The Agency plan includes 2 workspaces, with extras at $49 each.
QuickMail's own comparison pages describe agency dashboards and client reporting portals, plus an inbox rotation tool that swaps out underperforming inboxes. It has a 14-day free trial.
Weaknesses: $49 per extra workspace is more than Woodpecker's $27 per client, and the client reporting features are described on comparison pages rather than its pricing page.
6. Reply.io: best for agencies adding LinkedIn and an AI SDR
Best for: agencies that want to sell multichannel or AI SDR campaigns to clients.
Reply.io has dedicated agency pricing. Its pricing page lists Agency Core from $210 per month (with LinkedIn at $69 per LinkedIn account) and Agency AI SDR from $500 per month per client, which adds LinkedIn and email automation with AI agents. The comparison section on the same page says agency pricing starts from $166, so confirm the current figure.
Outside agency plans, Reply.io sells per-user seats with email, LinkedIn, calls, SMS and WhatsApp, and its Jason AI SDR handles research, writing and replies. We cover it in depth in Reply.io alternatives.
Weaknesses: it is more complex than Woodpecker, and per-client AI SDR pricing gets expensive fast.
7. Saleshandy: best for low-cost, simple sending
Best for: small teams and new agencies that want unlimited mailboxes at a low monthly price.
Saleshandy lists Starter at $34 per month billed annually ($41 monthly, 2,000 active prospects, 6,000 emails), Pro at $76 annual ($99 monthly, 30,000 prospects, 100,000 emails) and Scale at $149 annual ($189 monthly, 200,000 emails). Every plan allows unlimited email accounts with no per-inbox fees.
Its help center says white label is on Scale only, while the pricing page describes white label under a custom Enterprise plan. Ask Saleshandy which plan you need before you rely on it for client work.
Weaknesses: agency client management is not described clearly on its pricing page, and the white label details conflict between its own pages.
8. lemlist: best for simple email plus LinkedIn
Best for: small teams that want a friendly builder and LinkedIn steps next to email.
lemlist lists an Email plan at $69 per month ($55 yearly) and a Multichannel plan at $109 per month ($87 yearly) that adds LinkedIn, calls and a built-in dialer. It includes AI agents for signals, enrichment and messaging, plus a lead data add-on.
If you used Woodpecker because it was easy, lemlist's campaign builder is similarly approachable, and it goes further on personalization and LinkedIn.
Weaknesses: no agency client panel or white label on its pricing page, and costs rise with users and add-ons.
9. Mailshake: best for the simplest setup
Best for: small sales teams and founders who want a short setup and few settings.
Mailshake keeps things simple. Its pricing page lists a free Starter plan (1 email address), Email Outreach at $49 or $45 per month on annual billing (2 email addresses) and Sales Engagement at $99 or $85 on annual billing (5 email addresses), billed per user. It includes an AI email writer, warmup, a domain setup assistant and a list cleaning tool, and Sales Engagement adds LinkedIn, social and phone call tasks.
Weaknesses: it is priced per user, has no agency client panel, and is not built for high-volume sending across many mailboxes. See Mailshake alternatives if you are weighing it.
How to choose
| Your situation | Best fit |
|---|---|
| 1 to 5 clients, want simple and cheap | PlusVibe Business or Smartlead Pro |
| 5 to 15 clients, each needs a branded login | Smartlead with $29 workspaces, or PlusVibe |
| 15+ clients and high volume | Email Bison, or PlusVibe Agency |
| You want data, CRM and AI in one vendor | Instantly |
| You sell LinkedIn too | QuickMail, Reply.io or lemlist |
| Solo founder who wants simple | Mailshake or Saleshandy |
None of these tools include a large B2B contact database except Instantly (through credits). Most agencies pair their sender with a data tool such as Apollo and then export lists into the sending platform.
Whatever you pick, the sender only performs as well as your domains and mailboxes. Our roundup of cold email tools for agencies compares more options.
Rather not run it yourself?
If you would rather not manage tools, mailboxes and client campaigns at all, Koldify runs done-for-you cold email on PlusVibe, Smartlead and Email Bison. Book a 30-minute call with David at Koldify, or read cold email agency vs DIY to decide first.
Verdict
Woodpecker is still a good choice if you value simplicity and run a handful of clients. If per-client fees are your problem, Smartlead and PlusVibe give you client workspaces and white label at a lower cost per email.
If you want everything from one vendor, Instantly is the most polished. If you run a large agency, Email Bison's flat price with unlimited workspaces is worth a serious look.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best Woodpecker alternative for agencies?
It depends on how many clients you run. Smartlead charges $29 per client workspace from its Pro plan, PlusVibe's Business plan adds workspaces from $29 per month and its Agency plan includes dedicated client workspaces, and Email Bison includes unlimited workspaces on its $599 per month base plan, all as of October 2026.
How much does Woodpecker cost?
Woodpecker prices by contacted prospects per month rather than by seat. Its help center says the lowest plan costs $35 for up to 500 contacted prospects, and agency accounts pay $27 per active client per month plus $5 per client for white label, as of October 2026.
Is there a simpler alternative to Woodpecker?
Mailshake and lemlist both have simple campaign builders aimed at small teams, and PlusVibe and Instantly keep setup short with unlimited campaigns and built-in warmup. If simplicity is your top priority, use the free trials and build one real campaign in each before you decide.
Which Woodpecker alternative has the best white label?
PlusVibe offers a White Label Client App, a branded mobile app for your clients, and its pricing page lists white labeling for each client on the Agency plan. Smartlead sells white label client workspaces at $29 each, and Instantly includes a white label agency portal on Hypergrowth and Light Speed.
Does Woodpecker have LinkedIn outreach?
Yes, as an add-on. Woodpecker's pricing page lists LinkedIn connected accounts at $29 per account per month. lemlist, QuickMail and Reply.io also offer LinkedIn steps, while PlusVibe, Smartlead and Instantly are email-first.
Is Woodpecker cheaper than Smartlead or Instantly?
At low volume Woodpecker can be cheap, since its entry plan is $35 for 500 contacted prospects. At higher volume, tools priced by emails sent with unlimited mailboxes, such as Smartlead, Instantly and PlusVibe, usually cost less per prospect, but run your own numbers before switching.
